OFFICIATING COMMITTEE requires 2 nominated people from each club to assist with coordinating, planning, rostering, training & mentoring of umpires. You will not be responsible for every aspect, for example, if you are great at organising but not so much at umpiring on the field (or you don’t know how to umpire at all) your expertise can be utilised in the planning & rostering aspect of the committee. You may have a lot of experience in umpiring but are not as mobile as you once were, then a mentoring role would be perfect for you. This committee needs more people to be a functioning committee. A non-functioning committee could result in the competition start date being delayed until there are sufficient committee members.
